Optimistic Blossoms

When there is diversity, there is optimism.

This piece I call ‘Optimistic Blossoms’ is a festive depiction of my attempt to merge how the universal symbol of hope such as the light intersects with my interpretation of diversity represented by the kaleidoscopic flora into a vibrant image. In the spirit of this season, I want to share the message of love and kindness by depicting myriad of this imaginative exotic flowers thriving and growing from the same cheerful tree, similar to how London has become a home for myself and many others like me who have uprooted their lives and replanted it to this amazing city. Projecting my tree illustration made in ipad to one of this inclusive city’s most iconic landmarks, this joyful illumination is a reminder that whatever season we maybe in and despite whatever division is happening in the world, there will always be a promise that hope even in the coldest of dark night will always blossom.
